About Mind Prison Gallery
Welcome to Mind Prison Gallery, a visual philosophy blog dedicated to illustrating thought that explores technology, liberty, and the modern societal condition.
This gallery features digital artwork compositions that examine the themes I write about at Mind Prison - question authority, resist groupthink, and think critically about the world around us.
All content is created by me using tools such as Affinity, DaVinci Resolve, stock assets, and human imagination. All content is human made with the only exception where an AI exhibit may be used as a reference for critical commentary on that subject.
About Me, the Illustrator, Author and Owner: Dakara
I’m a software engineer that has worked for fortune 100 companies for about 3 decades. I architected development processes for large-scale, multi-billion-dollar organizations. I’m an autodidact - fully self-made engineer. I have no degree from any university and began my career training at twelve, learning machine language on the C64. My first program that I shared with the local C64 club was written purely in a hex editor.
In 2020, I had to step away from professional employment due to health and now write at Mind Prison, attempting to leverage my technical background and experience to bring greater understanding to the broader implications of technology and freedom.
My philosophical inspiration is simply the desire to think without limits. I have spent many years daily journaling my thoughts, working through my own analysis of the world without first consuming other philosophical viewpoints, in order to force myself to reason through why I think what I think. I hope that you might enjoy my visual expressions of things that occupy my thoughts and the questions I place before society.
